2009 Annual Meeting
We held our 51st Annual Meeting on Saturday, April 18th at the Sons of Norway Hall. This year was another successful turn out with 150 tickets sold. The meal, catered by SueAnn's Catering, was subperb.
Entertainment included a magician by Ace Magic and music was provided by Music Mania. Several drawings were held including two sets of tickets to Michigan Adventure. All children who attended recieved a gift as well. Thank you for all that attended and we look forward to our 52nd Annual Meeting in 2010.
In an effort to fight fraud:
We strongly encourage our members to review their online statements frequently and their paper statements immediately upon receipt. Report any errors. This also applys to your Visa statements. Also, please update the Credit Union with new addresses and phone numbers, including cell phones.

We are Casual for a Cause
If you notice our staff wearing jeans on Friday's, it's because we are "Casual for a Cause". Each staff member pays $1 to wear jeans on Fridays, with the money going to local charities at the end of the year. We enjoy our casual Fridays and our generous staff is happy to support the needs of our community.
Tax Tips
Forms to watch for: IRS Form 1099 for members who earned $10 or more in dividends on credit union accounts and IRS Form 1098 for those who paid at least $600 in interest on credit union mortgages. Please retain these forms for your tax preparation.
Direct Deposit: If you're expecting a tax refund be sure to request Direct Deposit. Your money will be deposited in your credit union account, usually within 10 days. Simply complete the Direct Deposit line on your tax form, and contact us for the correct routing number.
IRAS: You still have several months to make your 2008 deposits. Contribution limits are $5,000 a year for 2008, with an additional $1,000 allowed for taxpayers over the age of 50.
